Dopak ® process sampler is the world's standard in closed-loop sampling systems. It solves the problem of taking toxic, dangerous and volatile substances directly from the process and enjoy broad acceptance in the chemical and petrochemical industries. The operator is protected from the product being sampled whilst local spillage is avoided and escape of volatile substances into the atmosphere is prevented. The Dopak ® sampling principle :
By using a valve attached to a special needle assembly it is possible to pierce a septum on top of the sample container and to have the liquid flow through the process needle into the sampling bottle. The displaced air will be vented through the vent needle. When the needles are withdrawn from the septum, this septum will reseal automatically and the liquid will remain behind in a sealed container.
