The PowControl ® in line sampler is designed for permanent installation in either a pipe, chute or vessel and enables a wide range of powders to be sampled on a continual, composite or grab basis, with adjustable sample volumes and maximum safety for both the operator and the environment. It allows totally representative samples to be taken during the process production, or before final filling or packaging, providing an ideal solution to the requirements of Quality Assurance.
Representative and safe sampling :
Before each sampling cycle, screw reverses automatically in order to purge the screw and prevent any contamination. A purge valve blows out any particles left in the tube before sampling. A pinch valve automatically closes the sampling outlet when sampler stops working or during purging, thus avoiding any risk of pollution and contamination. The quantity of material to be sampled may be adjusted by using the speed regulator on the motor.
Easy cleaning :
At the heart of the sampling system is a flatblade Archimedes screw, which can be rapidly withdrawn for cleaning purposes. A quick motor connection enables the motorbloc to be released for easy extraction of the screw and perfect cleaning of the sampling components.
Easy installation and operation :
Due to compact mounted parts and light accessories this fully assembled sampler is easy to install and to operate.
Sampling programmer optional :
The separate control cabinet may be supplied with a programmer controlling sampling+ cycle + purge duration and frequency.
Reliability and robustness :
Sampling tube, connecting flange and screw are supplied in passivated finished 100% SS316 and all welds are made under argon atmosphere conditions. Dead space is minimised to avoid contamination. All PowControl ® in line samplers are fully tested before leaving our factory.
