To obtain a representative cross-sectional sample.

Check the cleanliness of the equipment, then gently penetrate the probe to the heart of the product whilst rotating the driver clockwise : the powder will enter the sample bag. Samples taken in this way are therefore representative of the different layers crossed by the probe. After sampling, purge the probe by reversing the direction of rotation. Withdraw the screw mechanism and clean with compressed air or a brush. When necessary sterilise the boring tube and screw in an autoclave.
NB : powder particles should not exceed 1mm in diameter.

Dismantling / Cleaning

This patented system can be easily dismantled into its individual components and totally cleaned without the use of tools. The sampling unit is cleaned by disconnecting the boring tube from the driver and removing the spiral of the boring tube. They should be cleaned with compressed air or a brush after each sampling period. The boring tube and the screw can be sterilised in an autoclave.

- Free testing of your product in our workshops. This allows us to send you a report giving you the result of our trials as well as the samples taken for your own analysis. A 1 KG sample of your product (if not hazardous) is needed for this service.
