OTRS

Sampling liquids out of a reactor with predosing

The ProSys OTRS, Overflow Top Reactor Sampler includes a predosing column inserted into a sample chamber  allowing the operator to extract  a confined defined volume from a vacuum or pressurized reactor, without any risk of overflow for sampling bottle or any risk of pollution of the vacuum line.

When the vacuum is applied to the chamber, the product is sucked from the reactor to the pre-metering column, the excess flowing into the sample chamber. A ball valve prevents contamination of the vacuum source by the product.

The sampling is totally enclosed . The dead volumes can easily be purged between two operations to ensure a representative sampling. The wetted parts are made from  PFA/PTFE or Hastelloy C22 and all parts can be easily dismantled.
