VolumControl type SAK 316 stainless steel sampler for volumetric in-line sampling of powders or granules.
A representative sample is taken by the sequential movement of a double-acting piston driving a shaft with a 16 or 18 cm3 capacity at its end. If sampling by gravity, a gutter is provided to penetrate the flow and enable the piston to entrain a predefined quantity of product at each movement, which will fall into the bottle at each retraction (volumetric sampling). The discharge pipe to the bottle is inclined at 30° to the vertical axis. A 1/8" connection to the filtered air network enables the capacity to be blown out, if necessary, for cleaning purposes.
