Description
Labocontrole 's PowControl sampler enables a representative sample of powders to be taken from the heart of a process. It is particularly well suited to sampling for biological analysis.
Its innovative design and choice of materials meet the hygiene and safety requirements of European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Its design complies with GMP, FDA, ISO and HACCP recommendations. ATEX Group II Category 2GD device, for "dust" zones 21, 22 and "gas" zones 1, 2 - Marking: CE Ex II 2GD c IIC T6(80°C)X.
PowControl: based on the Archimedean screw principle, the sampler enables powder to be taken from a hopper or gravity flow.
It includes:
- a 25mm diameter sampling probe (length to be defined by you) to be inserted into the process via a clamp connection. The probe has a sampling port at the top and, depending on the configuration, a purge port at the bottom;
- A spiral inside the probe allows the sample to be taken and the residual product to be discharged back into the process by reversing the rotation, thus guaranteeing the representativeness of the sample;
- a body with no retention zone, a process connection and a straight outlet;
- a spiral drive module that can be quickly and easily dismantled to facilitate cleaning and maintenance operations.
