Description
The GrabControl sampler enables a representative sample of powders or granules to be taken from the heart of a process.
Its innovative, simple yet robust design and choice of materials meet the health and safety requirements of European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, as well as GMP, GMP, FDA, ISO and HACCP recommendations.
Based on the Archimedean screw principle, the sampler enables powder or granules to be taken from a hopper or gravity flow.
It includes:
- a 42mm diameter sampling probe to be inserted into the process via a clamp connection. The probe has a sampling port at the top and a purge port at the end;
- an Archimedean screw (inside the sampling probe) enables sampling or discharge of residual product into the process (guaranteeing sample representativeness);
- a body with no retention zone, a process connection and a straight outlet;
- a spiral drive module that can be quickly and easily disassembled to facilitate cleaning and maintenance operations.
